Today we learned how to find division problems using multiplication. We did this strategy beacause most people are comfortable with multiplication but not division we learned the area model strategy and the multiplying up strategy
Our Data scores for term 1 and term 2We have done very well as a class to achieve our goals and in some things we are above grade level which is 80% so I think me and my class are doing very well in our work and we are trying harder to move up.
Greek and Latin roots Today we learned about Greek and Latin roots we tried to think about words that started or ended whith the letters on the bottom. For example uni some words that went with uni is unicorn,unit,unicycle,and unique the root of uni is one.
These pictures is what we use to get through math problems.One of the pictures is peservance that is what we mostly work on that is the meaning of getting through and solving a problem.
Today we learned to stop and think about the words we don't know in a story. We can use Context Clues to find the meaning.
In reading today we are working on a new bookmark and finding the definition in the dictionary for words we don't know. Also when we are done with the bookmark we chose one word from it and make a frayer model . When we are done with the frayer model we put in the class dictionary.
why was math funMath was fun because when we made the hundreds it was fun making it and lerning the power of 10 and working with ms.pritts.
